Top 3 Tips to Crush Your New Year’s Resolutions

  1. Make it fun.

We’ve heard the same story too many times— someone embarks with the best of intentions thinking, “this sucks right now, but I know it’s good for me so I will keep doing it.” This mindset might work for a quick fix, but often leads to the pendulum swinging backwards even further, creating the opposite result in the long run. Instead of just muscling through, identify what you want and find a fun way to achieve it. Like at our gym, we know there are many benefits to working out, but if you aren’t having fun, why bother? Our classes are filled with high intensity movements, strength and skill components along with high energy to make sure our athletes enjoy the precious time spent between our walls.

  2. Make a friend.

The chances that you stick with your good habits are dramatically increased if you surround yourself with people on a similar path. A recent article in Time Magazine reads “Researchers James Fowler and Nicholas Christakis have demonstrated that weight loss (and gain) spreads through friend groups, most likely via a process of altered norms.” Joining a community like ours can give you access to hundreds of new friends and positive reinforcement! We are constantly making new connections and watching the community grow— one new athlete at a time.

  3. Relax!

You are exactly where you should be, and for good reason! Your journey starts when you can clearly assess where you are AND know that it is perfectly, 100% okay. In fact, it is exactly where you should be. In our experience, many people come through our door and feel shame for where their current choices have led them. Maybe that’s being out of shape, overweight, injured, sick, slow, weak, etc… But... they are all PERFECT! We have the perfect program for you and it is available to people of all ages, genders, and fitness levels. We meet you where you are and take you to somewhere you never thought possible.
